How do I see how big (in GB) my AWS Machine Image (AMI) is once I have created it? And why is it broken into two pieces? It is hard to track the “metadata” piece and the “snapshot” piece in the console.
Anyway this comes down to how much am I paying for an AMI with a large Elastic Block Storage (EBS) volume of say 2TB. And if it is expensive: Is there some way I can stow it in Glacier archival storage to pay less for it?
