My Cloudbank account just got activated today. Tried to login to the PUBLIC CLOUD WEB CONSOLE for AWS, but kept getting “Your request included an invalid SAML response”. Is there something wrong with the authentication setup?

(Solved) Need to add myself to Login and Power User

A user that I added to my cloudbank allocation a few weeks ago is running into the same issue.
Where did you “add” these capabilities? Somewhere in the cloudbank dashboard?

Answering my own question: these are changes that need to be made in the cloudbank dashboard under “access cloudbank billing accounts” => account => “People with access to this billing account”
This error occurs when a user has “Login” priviliges but not “PowerUserAccess”. Looks like both are required to actually allow the user to log in without this error.

Hi, CloudBank staff here.
We’re aware of this SAML response issue and normal users should be able to log in without power user access. Although for the time being you can use that as a workaround, please do email help@cloudbank.org if you’re experiencing this issue, so our accounts team can fix the underlying permission issues.
